I came across food blogger Bruce Bradley. His blog tag line is "A food industry insider talks about food, life, and more." I really like how he analyzes food marketing and shows how the food industry manipulates consumers. I think it's a good read for everyone.

Here are some of his examples of food marketing (with my commentary).
Apparently foods have birthdays that we should celebrate. Nothing is grosser to me than Oreos. That creamy filling between the cookies is nothing more than crisco + sugar.
It's nice to see that KFC will contribute $0.50 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for every barf-inducing bucket that is sold.
When you really sit down and think about food marketing, it is absolutely ridiculous. However, it is all around us, so we have accepted as a normal part of society.

Johann's report card from day care.
The comments say "Johann did very well. He played with with everyone and really enjoyed his walks. But his favorite thing was cuddle time!"
