Today I signed up for a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). For $15 a box, we will get fresh, organic produce delivered to our neighborhood.
We pick up our box on Saturday in Culver City.
We should get:
- Swiss Chard
- Red Russian Kale
- Black Kale
- Blue Dwarf Kale
- Collard Greens
- Curly Mustard Greens
- Purple/Red Mustards
- Tatsoi Spinach/Mustards
- China Rose Radishes
- Cilantro
- Daikon Radish
- Broccoli
- Red Onions
- Bloomsdale Spinach
- Kohlrabi
- Bok Choy
- Green Romaine Lettuce
- Detroit Red Beets
- Komatsuna (Japanese Mustard Spinach)
- Cauliflower
I don't know what half of these things are, but part of the fun will be trying new recipes and discovering new foods.
